The annual Marc Zeplin Benefit Concert celebrates Marc’s fun spirit and his joy of music. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Marc S. Zeplin Foundation in support of children. This year we are focusing our charitable efforts towards Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Care Unit and programs for children with special needs.

* * The Gilfords - Over the past 10+ years The Gilfords have evolved into the New York City area's premier 80's rock cover band performing songs by artists such as AC/DC, A-Ha, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Guns 'n' Roses, Journey, Naked Eyes, Pat Benatar, The Outfield, U2 and Van Halen among others. 

* * Weird Science - Professional, energetic, and entertaining group that recreates the sounds, sights, and feeling of those amazing decade of pop culture, the 80's, 90's & Pop2k! Fronted by both male and female vocalists, Weird Science features top notch musicians including powerful keyboards, screaming lead guitars, thumping bass lines, and tight percussion. Their shows include costumes, lighting, and contests, plus audience participation!

MORE INFO ON THE CHARITY
The Marc S. Zeplin Foundation was established to honor the memory of Marc Scott Zeplin who lost his life on September 11, 2001, while working at Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center's North Tower. Among those left behind were his wife, Debra, and his two young children, Ryan and Ethan. In an effort to carry on Marc's values, the foundation has been formed to support charitable children's organizations and provide academic scholarships to children in need.
